Recently featured by James Vukmirovic in the Express & Star, our new distilling experiences mark an exciting new chapter for Chuckle Engine Spirit Company as we invite spirit lovers from Staffordshire and beyond to step behind the stills and become part of the adventure.
Since our launch in February we've been crafting winning spirits inspired by Victorian ingenuity, curious inventions and a healthy dose of mischief. Now, we're inviting guests to experience the creativity, science and storytelling behind every bottle.
More Than Just a Distillery experience
As highlighted in the recent Express & Star feature by James Vukmirovic, these immersive experiences are designed to be hands-on, interactive and memorable.
This isn't about standing back and watching.
This is about creating.
Each three-hour session allows guests to learn the art of distilling while crafting their own bottle of gin, rum or vodka using a traditional miniature copper still.
Think of it as part science experiment, part flavour workshop and part Victorian adventure.

Hosted at the Globe ECO Centre in Uttoxeter, every experience captures the spirit of exploration that defines Chuckle Engine.
Guests can experiment with more than 40 botanicals, discover how flavours interact, and create a completely bespoke recipe to take home.
Whether you prefer a bold juniper-led gin, a smooth vodka or a characterful rum, every creation tells its own story.
No two bottles are ever exactly the same.
Learning From Experienced Distillers
The experiences are led by founders David and Sue Hunter, former Nelson's Distillery distillers who exchanged production schedules for creativity, innovation and the freedom to build something truly unique.
Throughout the session, guests will learn:
· The history of spirit making
· The science of distillation
· How botanicals shape flavour
· The secrets of balancing recipes
· The art of creating a signature spirit
And of course, there will be guided tastings along the way.
