Modern Slavery Policy
Chuckle Engine Spirit Company is committed to conducting business in an ethical, transparent and responsible manner. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, child labour and all forms of worker exploitation within our business and supply chain.
As a small independent craft distillery operated solely by David and Sue Hunter, Chuckle Engine Spirit Company does not currently employ staff, temporary workers, or agency workers. However, we recognise the importance of supporting fair employment practices and responsible sourcing throughout the businesses and suppliers we work with.
We aim to work with reputable suppliers, manufacturers, packaging companies, event venues and service providers who share our commitment to ethical business practices, legal compliance, and fair treatment of workers.
Where possible, we seek reassurance that our suppliers operate in accordance with relevant employment laws, workplace standards, and anti-slavery legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
As Chuckle Engine Spirit Company continues to grow, we will regularly review our business operations, supplier relationships, and procurement practices to help ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our craft spirits business or wider supply chain.
