Allergen Statement

Product: Distilled Spirit (100% Distilled, No Additives)

This product is a distilled spirit produced by the distillation of fermented agricultural raw materials.

In accordance with UK food allergen legislation, including the retained Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, substances listed in Annex II (including cereals containing gluten) are exempt from mandatory allergen declaration when used in distillates for spirits, as allergenic proteins are not present following distillation.

This product:

  • Is 100% distilled
  • Contains no added flavourings, colourings, syrups, or other post-distillation ingredients
  • Does not contain detectable protein from cereals containing gluten or other Annex II allergens
  • Does not require allergen labelling under UK food law

 

Flavoured / Blended Variants (Post-Distillation Additions)

Where flavourings, syrups, colourings, cream, fruit preparations, or other ingredients are added after distillation:

  • All added ingredients will be assessed against Annex II of retained Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011.
  • Any of the 14 regulated allergens present in added ingredients will be declared and emphasised in the ingredients list in accordance with UK FIC requirements.
  • Allergen management procedures, supplier specifications, and verification controls will be applied to ensure accurate labelling and cross-contact risk assessment.

All flavoured or blended variants will therefore carry allergen declarations where legally required.

General Statement

All products are manufactured under documented food safety and allergen management procedures. Specifications are reviewed whenever formulation changes occur to ensure continued compliance with UK food legislation.
